Angela Claffy, OD

Dr. Angela Claffy is a 2015 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry. She is passionate about all aspects of optometry, with a special interest in contact lenses, pediatrics, and family eye care. Her professional training included internships at Walter Reed National Naval Hospital in Bethesda MD, followed by Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA in Columbia SC, and at Laria Eye Care, a pediatric private practice in Miami, FL. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, her daughter, Holly, and their two dogs.

Heather Melanson-Levy, OD, FAAO

Dr. Heather Melanson-Levy graduated from New England College of Optometry in 2011. Her internships included geriatrics, low vision, community health, and primary care. She then completed a residency in 2012 in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. Her interests are in glaucoma, vascular pathology, and neuro-ophthalmology. She recently moved back to New Hampshire with her husband, James, and two children, Cora and Cullen.

 

Rebecca Krivitsky, OD

Dr. Rebecca Krivitsky is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She completed internships at Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach, FL and Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Krivitsky went on to pursue a residency in Ocular Disease at the Manchester VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She is dedicated to providing quality care to her patients and enjoys all areas of optometry with a special interest in contact lenses, dry eye, and ocular disease. In her free time Dr. Krivitsky enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Scott M. Krauchunas, OD, Ph.D

Dr. Krauchunas graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston , MA and has been in practice at InFocus Eyecare since 2005. Prior to his career in optometry, he earned a Ph.D. from Kent State University specializing in Physiological Psychology. Scott was an Associate Professor at St. Anselm College teaching general psychology, health psychology, physiological psychology, sensation and perception, and experimental design. At Infocus Eyecare, Dr. Krauchunas cares for all eyecare needs including comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, glaucoma monitoring and treatment, diabetes monitoring, macular degeneration monitoring and treatment, pediatric eyecare,  vision therapy, sports vision training and concussion management. Dr. Krauchunas is a founding member of the A-Team, a group of high performance vision specialists, who collectively have worked with LPGA, NASCAR, Miami Dolphins, IMG Academy, US Volleyball, MLS Soccer Referee. In 2015, Dr. Krauchunas was appointed to serve on the New Hampshire Board of Optometry by the Governor. In early 2016, Scott began working with a major league baseball team for sports vision assessments and baseline concussion protocols. His goal as a doctor is to provide his patients with the best care utilizing the latest in research and technology, and most importantly compassion.

What do you like most about working at InFocus Eyecare?
Waking up each morning with a smile on my face knowing I work with the Lakes Regions best healthcare professionals.  And a HUGE added bonus for me is the patients we get to encounter on a daily basis.

Name one thing most people don't know about you.
I'm fairly new to New Hampshire. I moved here from South Florida and couldn't be more blessed and happy about that transition in my life with my family. For our patients who visit Florida in the winter, I would love to hear all about your adventures down there!


What do you enjoy when not working?
In the spring and summer, you will find me and my family either out on one of the Lakes Regions gorgeous lakes kayaking, swimming or just enjoying all this wonderful state has to offer. In the winter months, I'm snuggled up on the couch with my cat Dunkin or Golden Retriever/German Shepard mix Oliver.....or running errands for the teenagers 🙂

List a few of your favorite things.
Obviously, number one favorite is my family. I've been blessed with an amazing husband, Noah, and two incredible teens, Aidan and Hannah.  Gardening, kayaking, cookouts in the summer with friends, Halloween and Christmas.
